Common questions

Answers,
plainly.

Five sections covering the questions we get asked most often — ordering, delivery, payment, compliance, and investment. Still stuck? Get in touch.

01

Ordering & RFQs

What information should I include in an RFQ?

Specifications, quantity, target delivery location, required timeline, and any compliance constraints (halal, COA, etc.). Attaching a BOQ or technical spec speeds things up significantly.

What’s your minimum order quantity?

We work most efficiently from one 20-foot container upward. Smaller orders can be consolidated for repeat clients on regular procurement cycles.

How quickly will I get a quote?

Acknowledgement within 1 business day. Indicative pricing within 3–5. Formal proposal with delivery terms within 5–10 business days.

Can I submit a tender response through your website?

Yes — use the Tender Submissions channel for formal NGO and government tenders. RFQs go through Request a Quote.

Do you handle mixed-category orders?

Yes — mixed orders combining e.g. construction materials with stationery and fuel are routine. One customs entry, one delivery, one invoice.

02

Delivery & logistics

Where can you deliver in South Sudan?

All ten states. Last-mile costs and lead times vary by location and season — remote field sites take longer during the rains.

What’s a typical lead time?

Origin-dependent: 5–9 days from Uganda, 7–14 from Kenya, 18–25 from Dubai, 35–55 from China. Add 2–5 days for last-mile in-country depending on destination state.

Do you have your own fleet?

Yes — trucks, trailers, and light commercial. For larger movements we supplement with vetted haulage partners. We do not blind-broker shipments.

What happens if delivery is delayed?

We notify you immediately, not at the original delivery date. Where delays are within our control (e.g. clearance bottleneck), we absorb cost. Force-majeure delays (border closures, weather) are passed through at cost.

03

Payment terms

What payment terms do you offer?

Standard: 50% advance, 50% on delivery for first-time clients. For repeat NGO and government partners, we offer credit terms (Net 30/60) against signed framework agreements.

What currencies do you accept?

USD primarily — given currency volatility, dollar-denominated invoicing protects both sides. SSP and KES accepted for local-market settlement.

Do you accept letters of credit?

Yes, for larger international orders. Documentary L/Cs through reputable correspondent banks are routine for shipments above USD 100K.

Where are your banking details registered?

Primary accounts with commercial banks in South Sudan and Kenya. Full banking details and references provided on contract signing.

04

Compliance & documentation

Are you properly registered?

Yes — incorporated under the South Sudan Companies Act 2012 (COY-4LH5EPD) and tax-registered with the National Revenue Authority (TIN B20260323VLWP1D). View the certifications page.

Can you complete our vendor due diligence pack?

Yes. Vendor registration, code of conduct, anti-bribery, PSEA, and bank reference letters are all maintained current and available on request.

Do you carry insurance?

Yes. Marine and inland-transit cargo insurance, plus public liability cover. Certificates available on request.

How do you handle conflict-of-interest disclosures?

Standard NGO/donor practice. Disclosed upfront at vendor registration; specific transaction-level disclosures as required.

05

Investment enquiries

What sectors do you invest in?

Real estate development (commercial & residential), agricultural investment (farms & processing), and joint ventures with foreign market entrants. See Investments for the full thesis.

What investment sizes are you open to?

From USD 500K joint ventures up to USD 10M+ real estate or agriculture projects. Below USD 500K typically doesn’t cover the structuring costs in this market.

Do you co-invest?

Yes — alignment of incentives matters. We take equity in JVs we operate, and co-invest in deals we structure for capital partners.

How do I start an investor conversation?

Through the confidential Investor Inquiry channel. Inquiries route directly to leadership. NDA available before substantive disclosure.
